Cashew, Lime and Ginger Immunity booster

Cashews are a great source of Zinc - a vitamin that helps strengthen the immune system - and are also rich in flavonoids, which are important antioxidants and offer anti-inflammatory effects. For all these benefits and many more, it is an excellent base for this Immunity Booster, even more so when combined with ginger. Plus, it's freaking delicious.

Ingredients

For 1x 400ml smoothie:

  • 1x Tropix Cashew
  • 10g ginger
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 100ml water

Preparation

Run the pulp packs under warm water for a few seconds. This helps soften the pulp just enough so that it’s a little easier to slip out of its packaging. Combine pulp, ginger, honey and the lemon juice in a blender and beat well, adding water slowly until you get the desired consistency.
