This coconut-based smoothie is the perfect way to kickstart your day. Rich in nutrients and fiber, it is nurturing and delicious. Have it for breakfast or as an healthy afternoon snack.

Did you know that green coconut pulp is a great pre-workout food? Most of its saturated fats are metabolized in the liver and quickly transformed into energy. Adding oats to the mix makes it more nurturing. Or you can replace them with bran, chia or flaxseed, nuts or even protein powder. The banana gives the smoothie a satisfying texture, as well as important minerals like Potassium and Magnesium. 

If you like, you can add Cinnamon, coconut flakes and honey. It goes well together and also looks so good as toppings. Feel free to substitute oat milk for any other milk substitute.


For 1x 400ml smoothie:

  • 1x Tropix Coconut
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp oats
  • 100ml oat milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon (optional)


Mix the fruit pulp, banana, oats, honey and half of the coconut flakes in the blender at mid speed, adding oat milk a bit at a time until you reach a uniform texture. Top with remaining coconut flakes and cinnamon. Enjoy!
