Someone, somewhere at some time had the idea of mixing fresh Mint with Pineapple. Now, we don't know who was it, where did they do it and when. But we would like to thank this person anyway.
This smoothie can be found all over the world and is a perennial hit in our hometown's juice parlours. Our version adds a bit of ginger for a kick, but you can also stick to the basics. It's refreshing, it's green - there's no mystery to why it's a classic.
Ingredients
For 1x 300ml smoothie:
- 1x Tropix Pineapple
- 7-8 Mint leaves
- 100ml water
- 1 tsp grated ginger (optional)
Preparation
Mix the fruit pulp, mint leaves and ginger (if using) in the blender and mix, adding the water slowly until you reach the desired consistency. You can garnish it with a few extra mint leaves. Enjoy it cold!
